PLAN OF SALVATION

HOW DO YOU GET TO HEAVEN ?

HOW DO YOU GET TO HEAVEN ?

First you realize you are a sinner.

Many today think they are as good as the next person and that they do right most of the time. IS IT GOOD ENOUGH?

Romans 3:10 There is none righteous, no, not one.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of
the Glory of God.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto
a man, but the end thereof are the
ways of death.

Many religions will tell you how to get to Heaven, but you
better make sure it's not the "seem right" way.

The Bible very clearly teaches that no one will ever get to Heaven by works of righteousness. In John chapter 3, it tells a story about a religious man that had spent all his life being good and even teaching others about God, surely this man would make it to Heaven (he was so good), but yet Jesus told this man you must be born again or you cannot see the kingdom of Heaven.

So what does it mean to be born again?

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.

Many people say they believe in God and Jesus, but believing in your mind won't get you to Heaven. You have to put your trust in Jesus, that He paid the price for your sins when He died on the cross, and that trusting Him as your Savior will make you righteous before God. God has made it simple when you lay down all your efforts, acknowledge your sins, repent, put your full trust in Christ, YOU WILL BE SAVED!

God wants everyone to be saved.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not willing that any should perish
but that all should come to repentance.

God is not mad at you, you haven't been so bad that He has stopped loving you. God gave the most precious thing in Heaven (His Son) to make a way for you to go to Heaven.

Please consider the way you are going and ask God to save you today.
